Are you a highly organised and detail-driven professional with a passion for event coordination? Gough & Kelly are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Events Administrator to join our team in Leeds. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure the smooth planning, staffing, and delivery of events, supporting both our Events and Security operations.

About the Role:

As an Events Administrator, you’ll play a key role in coordinating staff, managing event logistics, and ensuring that all related administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately. From booking staff and handling communications to preparing materials and supporting on-site delivery, you’ll be central to the success of our events.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate staff using our cloud-based systems
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, including availability and qualifications
  • Respond to staff queries regarding pay, transport, and shift scheduling
  • Prepare and distribute event materials (e.g. radios, ID cards, uniforms)
  • Support on-site operations including signing staff in/out at events
  • Assist HR with onboarding, inductions, and training documentation
  • Manage internal communications, including WhatsApp group updates
  • Ensure timesheets are accurate and assist with event-related financial admin
  • Update staff and event information across multiple systems (e.g. Timgate, CASH, PowerPlus)
  • maintaining strong client relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both structure and adaptability to their work.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in administration, ideally in events, staffing, or HR
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (face-to-face, by phone, or via email)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internal databases
  • Comfortable managing sensitive documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends when events are taking place.
