Salary: £35,000-£48,000 per annum, depending on experience

We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, to join the fast-paced team based in Leeds.

The position:

  • Permanent, full-time
  • 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Service of security systems within the specified region through the effective management of others. This will include but is not limited to the following:

a) Manage the site, product and engineer audits
b) Manage the customer compliance within the department
c) Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner
d) Assist with technical queries from engineers, Account Managers and Head of Departments
e) Oversee engineer scheduling to maximise efficiency

  • Carry out field-based mentoring and training for all engineering staff
  • Consider the commercial impacts of day-to-day decisions for the department
  • Provide the first escalation point from engineers, in and out of core working hours
  • Provide effective communication in all media, both internally and externally to ensure SLA's are met
  • Working within a team providing coverage of customer database as required
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of British Standards in relation to job activities

Role requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' technical experience in an engineering role
  • Previous experience within a managerial position
  • Experience within the security industry
  • Computer literate
  • Full UK driving licence required
