It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved colleague and friend, Sajid Mahmood (Moo).
Moo had been a valued member of the Gough & Kelly family for over 15 years. In that time, he brought not only skill and dedication to his work, but also a warmth and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. To us, Moo was more than a colleague; he was a true friend to many, and his presence will be greatly missed across our business and beyond.
In the weeks since his passing, the outpouring of generosity and kind words from colleagues, friends, and the wider community has been truly moving.
Our JustGiving page has received over £3,000 to help support Moo’s family during this incredibly difficult time, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed. We have also created a memory book that brings together all the heartfelt messages and tributes. This, along with the donations, have been given to Moo’s family as a token of the love and admiration felt for him across the business.
We are also looking at meaningful ways to celebrate Moo’s life within the company and keep his spirit alive. We will be hosting a curry day, something we know he would have enjoyed, as well as a more permanent memorial to provide a space for reflection and remembrance.
Moo’s loss is deeply felt, but his spirit and the joy he brought into our lives will remain with us. Our heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Moo meant a great deal to us, and he will always be remembered as an important part of the Gough & Kelly family.
