We are privileged to be a headline sponsor of the Elliot James Bransby Memorial match for 2025.
This year’s match is the third memorial match for Elliot, and honours Leeds United legends Jack Charlton and Eddie and Frank Gray. A star-studded line-up, comedian Jon Richardson will be playing, plus the day will be hosted by comedian and compere Jed Stone. The Lord Mayor of Leeds will also be attending as a special guest. There’s a raffle and hot food available all day to make it a fun day for all the family.
We have sponsored the kit as part of our support for the event and will provide stewarding and security for both the morning game and the memorial match.
Elliot, an avid Leeds United fan, passed away at just age 30 but left a legacy of passion and love in his wake.
Each year, his memorial match fundraises for a cause close to the Bransby’s, and Leeds’, hearts. This year, all proceeds raised from the ticket sales will go directly to the charity, The Homeless Street Angels.
The Homeless Street Angels provide outreach on the streets of Leeds city centre, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space and reversing the spiral of homelessness.
The charity is currently working with Leeds City Council and Housing Options to rehouse people off the streets and is part of the Leeds Homeless Charter, which aims to eradicate homelessness in Leeds.
The Elliot James Bransby Memorial match will see Team Charlton take on Team Gray on the 13th July at The John Charles Centre for Sport. Gates will open at 11am. You can purchase your tickets and find out more, here: memorialfootballmatch2025
