Gough & Kelly marching on together with LUFC

Yorkshire security firm Gough & Kelly has won the contract to continue to provide comprehensive stewarding and security services to Leeds United Football Club.

The Leeds-based company, which provides events stewarding and security services across Yorkshire and beyond, has held the contract with Leeds United for five consecutive years previously and has now had it extended for the next two seasons.

Gough & Kelly will provide match day stewarding for the premiership club, to ensure crowd safety and enjoyment, as well as the day-to-day security of both the 38,000 capacity Elland Road stadium and Leeds United’s remote training ground.

Last season, Gough & Kelly installed a new state-of-the-art mega-pixel CCTV camera in response to continued disruption in the stadium’s south stand, to act as a deterrent and to enable those who cause trouble during the games to be more accurately identified.

Ian Crawford, operations manager at Gough & Kelly, says, “We are overjoyed to continue our partnership with Leeds United Football Club. It has been an honour to ensure matchday enjoyment and safety, and venue security over the years. We always aim to go above and beyond and will continue to do so over the coming seasons.”

Gough & Kelly employs up to 550 staff members to cover each match and will be holding an open day for recruitment of both stewards and SIA security on Monday 25th July from 1pm until 7pm at The Queens Hotel Leeds.
