In our Autumn 2016 newsletter we asked for nominations for a local cause or community group that would benefit from a donation. After reviewing a number of worthy submissions, Parkinson’s UK was chosen at random to receive a £100 donation.
The charity was suggested by Sonia Johnson, assistant property manager at commercial real estate agency, Ryden, who explained: “This charity is very close to my heart as my husband has suffered with this debilitating condition since the age of 46. I work tirelessly all year round to raise funds to raise awareness and help find a cure.”
The donation will go towards helping Parkinson’s UK support people living with the debilitating disease, as well as its research into treatments and improving life for those affected.Return to the News page
