We are proud to support the Cash for Kids Christmas initiative ‘Mission Christmas’ as part of our monthly charity drive.
Each month, we choose a staff nominated charity at random and donate £250 to the cause, With Christmas drawing near, it felt appropriate to set our sights on something holiday themed. Plus, the first year ‘out’ of the pandemic and the reduction of Universal Credit means disadvantaged families and children will be hit particularly hard this year.
Cash for Kids is a grant giving charity seeking to help the most disadvantaged children and young adults in the UK. Their ‘Mission Christmas’ campaign aims to ensure no child goes without a present at Christmas and to bring a little joy to all. The campaign accepts new, unwrapped present donations, cash donations and volunteers to help with the efforts.
We have donated £250 towards Christmas presents and five members of our staff will be helping out at the Mission Christmas warehouse in Leeds, sorting and distributing gifts for young people in need.
Ian Crawford said “It is important to us as a company to give back what we can and we felt that this Christmas, after an especially tough few years for many, we wanted to help spread a little joy. We are glad to be able to provide help physically as well as financially for such a great charity.”
