In appreciation of all our staff working hard on the mass Covid-19 vaccination site in Leeds, we have given them each a ‘THANK YOU’ sweet box, along with an honorary badge they can be proud to wear.
We have been working alongside the NHS since January 2021 at the prestigious vaccination centre in the pavilion at Elland Road, home of Leeds United Football Club. All our committed staff received the relevant training and regular updates so that the highest level of customer service could be provided to the public visiting for their Covid vaccine. Their dedication and professionalism in a time of crisis has been an absolute credit to Gough and Kelly and we are so proud of our wonderful team.
Peter Aldridge (General Manager, Estates, Fire & Security, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust) said of our work: “Your input at Elland Road meant I had one less thing to worry about. The independent security auditor was very complimentary about the general setup and the security measures in place. I owe a big thanks to Ian Crawford and his team.”
Emma Wright (Estate Strategy Lead for Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) added: “The process ran smoothly from start to finish. Car park staff directed me through, all with a friendly smile and wave. As I left my car, two very professional and helpful stewards checked that I had everything I needed. The whole process was quick and faultless. Staff within the centre were amazing. However, it was the marshals outside who really made my visit. Thinking of how other members of the public could be apprehensive, the staff outside offered support and reassurance. I would be really grateful if you could pass on my such appreciation to the team at Elland Road for doing an admirable job.”
To celebrate this and our partnership with the NHS, we produced a badge for all our staff who work on the site to show and reward their commitment. Plus, a little sweet something extra, we feel, is always appreciated! Well done team!Return to the News page
